Silver willow is widely favored as the top flower arranging material during the Lunar New Year period in Taiwan, thus it has great market potential. This kind of flower prefers a humid climate, which makes Yi-lan an ideal ground for growing it. At present, it is a very important crop among flowers and plants. In recent years, it has been mass produced in an accelerated program. Oversight of production is still rough, however, and quality may be inconsistent from one batch to another.
