Okay, let me start by saying that this story was not terrible, despite my 2 star review. I had certain issues though, such as the length (or as i think of it, the run-time) of this book. It was very long, and had the cadence almost resembling a tv show, in that it felt like many episodes over a two season run (honestly, it's a great premise for a prime time drama, someone needs to snatch this up). However translating that into a single novel, it felt long and drawn out. Second issue I had was with the lack of proper voice for all the international characters. There are all these amazing characters from around the globe but they all sounded vaguely British. There was no regional slang, no accents (and i have read other authors who have pulled this off without being stereotypical) even though the characters were Brazilian, Scottish, Australian, etc. SPOILERS IF YOU READ AHEAD: Lastly, I felt that the story of Will lasted too long. You know from the beginning that Luis is where it will end. And the fire that is between Luis and Daisy is so much more interesting. I wanted to montage a bit of Will's part and have spent more time with Daisy and Luis pulling each other from the grief and finding their place together.

All that being said. I loved the idea of this story and I like the idea of fictional characters Daisy and Luis living together happily somewhere in bookland.

It was really awsome!! I truly loved it. I'm an F1 racing fan and it was great to read a book true to reality but with such a great love story!!! The characters are greatly written and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book.
Highly recommendable for anyone looking for a great time and a really great love story, regardless of your knowledge of F1.
Definately recommended for readers who wish to unwind from a hectic schedule. Will be superb book to read if you are on holiday, by the beach or having a cup of coffee in a nice cafe!
I don't like the authors style of writing. The strory line seemed like a good one which is why I bought it in the first place and you may enjoy the way she writes.
It was a quick easy to read if slightly cliched romance. The Formula 1 racing aspect was very exciting and not hard to follow.
I really enjoyed reading this! I wasn't really prepared for the sad part of the plot but I was pleased with the story and the ending. The characters are awesome and make you fall in love with them. I really like Paige Toon's books but if you're just looking for something completely carefree you may be a little surprised.
I was not sure if I would like this book when I got it but I must say that this is my favorite British chick lit. I love Paige Toon books but this one kick it up a notch. Love it! Daisy is my favorite heroine. She is funny and lively. And Will and Luis are well...everything we, what's the word? HOT! They are super hot and charming. Have re-read by book about five times already...about to start again. )
I really do enjoy Paige Toon's books. There is such a simple pleasure in them. This was a bit predictable but still engaging. The racing was a great world to be in and I really liked Luis. The heroine was maybe a bit unstable and the romance a bit too I don't know, insta. But I still enjoyed the read alot.
